My Amp

This problem began about 5 days ago.

I connect my guitar to my amp, I plug the amp in, turn the amp on and when I play, no noise comes out of the amp, It's weird because as the string is vibrating and I slightly touch my finger on it I can hear a very dim static sound from the amp. Does anyone have any possible solutions?

one of the connections could be loose or dodgy. that's about all i can think of. :o

yeh that happened to my guitar and a mate open it up to see what was wrong and it was a lose connection like bakebean said

That happene to me once but the solution was so fucking easy for me it was embarassing.
My sound was all the way up but all the other stuff like middle treble bass etc. where turned down and evidently on my amp it doesn't make a sound when all are own except fuzz and vloume etc.
