I use Ernie Ball Power slinky bass strings, though I do want a set of DR strings, but they run about $70:mad:

I was the same way about Ernie Ball. I kept breaking strings all the time so I switched and now everything is better.
I want to try a set of Elixr strings for my acoustic but they are like 3x the price of regular strings.

Earnie ball super slinkys, although I bought a single 11 for the top e recently and I much prefer it, so I might go for regular slinkys next time I re-string.

For my electric I use Ernie Ball Super Slinky Pure Nickel, and after using first D'Addario, then Martin, I've settled on Ernie Ball Earthwood Lights for my acoustics.
