I hate these things!

I never have one around, they are hard to use (maybe i'm just an idiot)

I have a few pedals here in my room that i can't use right now cause all the batteries are dead, and i'm a lazy bastard and i dont wanna go to the store and get a 9 volt when i have plenty of AA batteries just chillin around. Its a pain and more companies should make them either a different battery for their products, or just give free 9 volts out. I opt for the second choice, free schtuff rules!

:haha:

I'll just rub it in some and let you know my pedal works via AC Adapter.

Yeah man, just get a 12-way power strip, some ext. cables, and like 3 adapters.. thats how i set mine up. 9 volts dont deliver full sound anyway once theyve been used for a little bit.. Example: I was real pissed that my Bad Horsie didnt work well with my dist footswitch, but i got an adapter for it and now it sounds like the shiz-nittle-bam-snip-snap-smack.

haha yea i've done that before the shock is an interesting feeling that i dont experience often (except for that time at skateland when i was 12 and there was two arcade games, a simpsons pinball machine, and a fighting arcade game, and if you put your hand on the pinball machine and reached into the change return of the arcade game you'd get a real nice strong shock. So watch it kids) :chillin:

DUDE!!!!! there was the same trick with two games at the arcade I used to live near!!!!! hold **** I thought no one else was able to experiance that "electrifying" shock

if you put one hand on the door handle and one hand on the neon light at the ale house you get electricuted.

It was fun.

another fun one is putting a paper clip in both slots of an outlet(elecrtic make sure it's not 220 but 110!! safety first mates) not only a great shock but fuse is blown aaaaand a fireball comes out!!!

ok so it can be really stupid but have your fun

I like burning brillos with a 9 volt.

The only things I do that give me an "electrifying" rush involve alcohol or medicinal cigarettes...

The only thing I need 9-volts for is the built in tuner on my Ovation, I only need to replace them ever 4-5 months though, no big deal.

I only really play my acoustic so I don't need pedals, when I do, the one I use has the AC adaptor.

I don't use pedals on my acoustic ever, I have a nice preamp as well from Ovation so I'm usually set.

I don't use pedals with my acoustic but whenever I feel the need to play the electric, I use pedals (well, usually just one)

I was going to buy the "recommended adapter" for my Zoom pedal (also made by Zoom) for $25 or so. I did a quick look around, and found one of those adapters that you can use for a countless number of electronics, made sure it had the same specs as the Zoom one, and got it; only $10.

Why does your bass need a battery?

it took me like a full year to run out of battery, and that was before i knew i had to unplug. don't worry, i bet it will be fine.

I have a small Digitech effects prcessor (RP100) That runs on AA batteries. Theyre so weak it need like 6 or 8 at once and they run out after about 5 hours of playing. Needless to say I got an adpter for it. I don't have much problems with 9V's draining in my other 2 pedals (Boss DS-1 distortion and a Cry Baby Original Wah).

you can use 'splitter' - oupsss i don't know how does it called in english
this is a funny device that is dividing the power signal,
you plug in 9V Power Adaptor and you have (in my case) 5 9V outputs

unable to connect dod with boss :( beacuse boss effects have inverted
polarisation :(
