Is anyone currently using dehumidifier tubes in their cases or storage areas to control humidity on their Guitars or other stringed instruments?

Is humidity a continuing concern for players?

How is it currently handled?

Yep I'm using a Pumus stone in my case. I usually start to de-humidify about Nov. till the snow melts. Humidity is always a factor with wood instruments you just have to be diligent in making sure your humidifier is always wet. One other thing if you have your guitar outside in the winter for a extended period of time, wait for at least 15 minutes before opening the case. To give the guitar time to get climitized.

I hoped that helped a bit. :)

Humidity can greatly affect your guitar. I tcan cause severe warping if not treated properly. Same goes with temperature.. generally staying in a cool place or staying in a warm place will be okay, but gonig back and forth can cause problems.

Dehumidifiers regulate the variable so your axe stays safe.

Or at least that's what I think they're talking about.

...yeah..in other words..dehumidifier...key part DE-humidifier....takes humidity away...since no one was going to define it plainly. haha There are humidifiers too...you can guess what that means...to humidify it. woo English lesson of the day.
